I have never had to experience being locked inside a room for what seems to be almost an eternity. An old house with two rooms, a balcony and a rooftop, these are the only places I am limited to move around now. We are constantly keeping tabs on our food habits to make sure we are healthy and our immunity isn’t compromised. The thing about isolation is that the space around oneself becomes very limited, in this limitation we begin to experience things differently. In my case it was the observation of my surroundings, I have begun to notice things that surround me. As days pass by and the news on the TV keeps informing me about the pandemic and the death rates, I can’t help but allow fear to seep into me and worry about the wellbeing of me and my family. Through these photographs, I would like to share how I spent my days at home in the midst of this pandemic whilst practicing social distancing.
